i need a kick in the arse
by Eric Sociait dawned on me today that i haven’t been updating enough to make this whole thing really worth the money i’m spending on it. so, in an effort to rectify that, i’ve joined up with NaBloPoMo.com, a website that’s encouraging bloggers to write a post every day through the month of November. that’s good, especially since November happens to be my favorite month, anyway.
as for today…
ok, so i really REALLY need to think up some sort of theme for this thing. i don’t want to be just another “random musings”-type blogger who “just writes about whatever.” that’s so boring. or, if i end up having no theme, then i’d at least like to write about random stuff with style, a la TheSneeze.
i mean, i’m almost constantly bored, but does that mean that i should be constantly boring? i hope not. i don’t want to be that guy. i want to be…. that guy. the guy that people enjoy reading about or talking to or hanging out with or buying beers for (or in my case, whiskey). i just need to find my niche, whatever and wherever it may be. if ANYbody actually sees this blog, please, leave some comment love and any ideas you may have on what this blog should or could be about.
if any ideas are used, the person who came up with it may get a prize =P

First off, if you’re actually bored you don’t have big enough goals. Maybe you don’t have goals at all. Either way check out Simpleology to get clear.
I’m assuming you’re interested in making some money since you were over at Pat Doyle’s blog. Keep reading Pat Doyle’s stuff and implement it. If you decide to build a full blown Internet business there are several other good sources of info. Check out James Brausch and Aaron Brandon. Brausch has a great intern program that seems to go on indefinitely. Aaron is one of Brausch’s proteges and has a finite intern program that is a great way to get moving and doing useful tasks for his business while learning what to do for your own business.
To kick start your ideas I’ll borrow one of Aaron’s suggestions and send you to azlist.about.com so you can write down all the topics you have expertise or interest in and then pick your first choice to get started.
You’ve inspired me to create a product on goal setting. Watch for it.
